Riesgos no razonables

¿Qué constituye un riesgo no razonable en relación con la seguridad de un producto? Identifique los elementos que definen la seguridad de un producto desde una perspectiva ética.

Answer:  Unreasonable risks are those that could be prevented or that consumers would pay to prevent if they had the knowledge and choice, according to the National Commission on Product Safety (NCPS).  Three steps firms can use to assess product safety from an ethical perspective follow:

·         How much safety is technically attainable, and how can it be specifically obtained for this product or service?
·         What is the acceptable risk level for society, the consumer, and the government regarding this product?
·         Does the product meet societal and consumer standards?
